What is available beyond what I see on this website?

We try to keep the product line focused and simple. What we offer as standard will address the majority of applications. We do however stock a lot of product that is not cataloged. We offer gear reducers and special motors for “heavy duty” (i.e. high torque, low speed) applications, special shanks, special head lengths, and more. Call our Application Dept. toll free 1-877-435-8665 with the details of your application. We can usually offer a solution.

36" of reach and we didn't even use our 12" long head.

A standard straight shank Eltool head can be mounted in an endmill holder.

The longer the holder the longer the effective length of the head.

Ok this isn't really "Special" it's an inline spindle speeder on an HSK63 shank, but notice the bearing package and it will make understanding the next picture.. the Size 4 head easier to understand.

The Size 4 head uses the inline bearing spindle speeder package but the motor bore is 90% to the shank.

No gears in this one. Unless you want to add the 5:1 planetary gear set.

Since the inline bearing package and all our heads are modular the Size 4 head can have a standard right angle head mounted to it. In this case a Size 3M head with a special spade drill spindle. Would this be a right right angle head? We also added the 5:1 planetary gearbox under the 3M head for extra torque and slower spindle speed.

Speaking of holding the cutter, notice the ER-16 collet arbor (made by the customer we weren't that smart)
This is for those that think an Eltool head is really really cool but just a toy~!!

Thought you might want a closer look at that spade drill spindle.
Sometimes holding the cutter in a small head is half the battle.

Any Eltool standard head can be mounted on the Size 4 shank. Since the motor pocket in the Size 4 is identical to a standard shank except rotated 90 degrees the head can be adjusted 360 degrees. So while 180 degrees is possible, so is zero degrees with an offset, or compound angles. The machine spindle indexing is still possible so compound angle bolt circles are now a snap.

They should have let me make this one. I could have got it straighter than that.
A Size 2D with and ER-11 collet mounted at 45 degrees on a size 4 style head. The 2D head can be manually rotated 360 degrees and the taper can be rotated by machine. Can you say compound angle bolt circle?

A BMT60 Live tool module with an 8" long 3M head. Ok pretty much off the shelf stuff be we think it's special.

A size 1M head with a .250 "E" dimension. That's the distance from the end of the head to the center of the spindle. We like to call it the Minie. Or 1ME

A peek at the 5:1 planetary gearbox. Don't let your cutter get caught in the part you might flip your machine over on it's back.

An inline head built into a turret block for an Okuma LB15

A Size 2M head with a .465 cubic inch motor. This results in a 2.6 : 1 ratio. Torque is .494 inch lbs per psi and speed is 350 rpms per gallon of flow.
(standard .180 cubic inch motor is .019 inch pound at 900 rpms)

A Size 3M with ER-16 Collet with an ER-8 back collet. Because the head can be indexed you can center drill and drill or drill and cobore with the same head. Of course the back collet is running backwards so you need to use left hand cutters.
